Sharing a weird teddy video from Kreuzberg
A real situation from the OGIMA community · Everyday Berlin
The scene
You hand your phone across the bar to your friend, showing the video of an oversized teddy bear duct-taped to a mannequin at last night's Kreuzberg warehouse party. She squints and laughs.
Why this moment is tricky in Germany
Berlin warehouse-party aesthetics — especially in Kreuzberg, Neukölln, Wedding — often feature absurd prop objects (giant stuffed animals, mannequins, medical equipment) as decor; sharing the video the next day is part of the post-party debrief. In club cultures built on clean-minimal decor, the absurd-prop aesthetic wouldn't be shareable the same way.
Rehearse it before it happens
